A Commitment to Community and Recreation 

The Parks Advisory Committee of Blooming Prairie is dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents by enhancing our city's parks and recreational amenities. Formed with the vision of updating our city parks without imposing additional tax burdens on our local residents, our committee is embarking on an ambitious journey to bring new life to our beloved community spaces. 

Our city park is in need of significant updates to continue serving as a cornerstone for community gathering and recreation. The park was last updated over 30 years ago. Recognizing this, our main objective is to raise the necessary funds to revitalize the park's infrastructure, with a particular focus on updating the playground equipment. Our goal is to create a playground that welcomes children and families to a safe, fun, and engaging environment. 

Additionally, we are looking to construct restroom facilities to enhance the convenience and accessibility for all park visitors. These updates are crucial in maintaining the park's status as a valuable asset for relaxation, play, and community events. 

Community-Focused Approach

Our goal is to collaborate with local organizations and stakeholders to initiate community-wide fundraising efforts. We believe that by working together, we can harness the collective power and generosity of Blooming Prairie residents, businesses, and community groups to bring our vision to fruition. in addition to our community focused fundraising, we will also explore grant opportunities as well.
